We have found a great little Hungarian coffee shop (by day anyway- bar at night). We go there for cappuccinos in the morning. Our bill? 2 dollars!
We traveled to a small island that is walking distance from our house. It is called Margaret Island, and it is quite lovely. Scott packed himself a lunch. If I can ever get myself into running again, this is the place to go!
He cooked when we were dating, and he still cooks now that we’re married = I got a winner!
Now, what you’ve all been waiting for. A couple of pictures of our apartment. It is quite bare, and we’re still living out of our suitcases. Today we plan to attack Ikea with a vengeance to remedy our bachelor-pad looking apartment.
Our living room. Notice the balcony, the drying rack, and the couch. All included!
Our bathroom. Notice two toilets?? Nope- one is a bidet. It is for cleaning off after you use the toilet. I haven’t used it yet, but I’ll be sure to let you all know how it goes 🙂 just kidding!
BORING. One of our walls.
Our apartment is pretty tiny compared to American standards, and definitely compared to the sweet set up we had last year. However, whenever we think about its smallness, we pretend we are living in the heart of New York in a BIG apartment. After all, we’d never be able to afford a one bedroom apartment for this price there. Yes, the glass if half-full, not half-empty.
