Easter traditions

This Easter we instilled two new traditions. In celebration of the resurrection of Jesus, we had mimosas! And, I made us cranberry-orange-oatmeal pancakes. I combined two recipes, added another for the honey whipped topping, and called it a good day!

If you are looking for a hearty breakfast, this is your stop. They suckers are filling! Yum. Look at all those cranberries. I combined this recipe with this recipe and made a few changes to make these.

I made a delicious topping for the pancakes.

Don’t forget the whipped topping! I whip up heavy cream and add honey and vanilla. Waalah. Deliciousness!

He’s a proud husband.

He’s so done with all this picture taking and ready to scarf it down! Please note our teeny little table and humble abode.

I’m proud of my handiwork!

It was a great day and great time celebrating our risen King!
